Rookies is cancelled tonight (May 23rd) due to strong likelihood of thunderstorms.

It's not looking good for rookies tonight. I don't mind paddling in rain but there's a chance of thunderstorms starting around 6 tonight. I will make an official announcement in an hour.

Rough weather forecasted for tomorrow (Monday, May 23rd). Rookies is tentative for tomorrow. Stay tuned for updates and a possible cancelation if it's stormy.

Just a reminder that we'll be meeting at the East River Flats for the remainder of the year for Monday Night Rookies. We will be there with the trailer at 5:45.

Rookies should be on schedule for April 25th. Storms should move out by the evening. We'll be meeting at 5:45 at Cedar Lake again. Bring a boat if you've got one. Hope to see you there.

Rookies Racers training will start this Monday (April 18th) at Cedar Lake at 5:30. We'll start off at the southwest parking lot. All those interested in race paddling technique are welcome. Free for MCA members and $5 per session for non-members.
